Why do customers choose The Blue Door Travel?

The Blue Door Travel specializes in customized trips. We work together with you to create your unique and exclusive holiday.

Bookings

How can I book a trip?

You can easily book a trip using our online booking form or via e-mail.

Of course you can also reach us by telephone. For the contact details, you can scroll to the bottom of this page.

When do I get the booking confirmation and how can I pay?

Once your trip has been agreed, you will receive the booking confirmation and the invoice by e-mail.

A deposit of 25% of the total invoice value is required at time of booking.

The remaining amount must be paid at least eight weeks prior departure date. For bookings within 12 weeks of departure date a full payment at time of booking is required.

You will receive the complete travel information (detailed route, hotels, practical information etc.) two weeks before departure.

Can I still cancel my booking?

Yes, that is possible. Please note that cancellation fees will apply.

If you have to cancel the trip due to personal circumstances, you must always notify us in writing. Send us an email to hola@thebluedoor.nl.

We will then send you a cancellation invoice. You might be able to submit this cancellation invoice to your insurance company to get a reimbursement.

The following cancellation fees per person will be applicable:

a) if cancelled up to 56 days (exclusive) before departure, 25% of the total price;
b) if cancelled from 56 (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before departure, 50% of the total price;
c) if cancelled from 28 (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before departure, 75% of the total price;
e) if cancelled from 14 days (inclusive) before departure, the full price.

The purchase of a cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

Airline tickets

Are the flight tickets included in the trip price?

The Blue Door Travel does not book airline tickets.

We can of course advise you about the different alternatives.

Other

Are there health requirements for travellers?

The Blue Door Travel specializes in customized trips. We adjust our trip programs to your wishes and requirements. You choose the pace of your trip and which activities you want to do.

When to go?

The mild temperatures will allow you to visit the region all year long.

The best time to go to Asturias is from April to September.

Are The Blue Door Travel trips suitable for children?

Our trips are certainly suitable for children.

The Blue Door Travel specializes in customized trips. We adapt our trip programs to families and also offer fun activities for children.

Can I buy a travel insurance through The Blue Door Travel?

We do not offer travel or cancellation insurance.

Most of our customers already have annual travel insurance. We strongly recommend you to purchase a travel and cancellation insurance for your trip should you not have one already.
